Worked a day shift for the Marin Independent-Journal which was a lot of fun. Had several different assignments to cover which included the Romberg Tiburon Center celebrating its 30th anniversary. The marine and estuarine research facilities has allowed scientists and students to conduct their research centering around the San Francisco Bay.
I also covered LAXapalooza '09, a large Novato Lacrosse Club free festival that attracts more than 400 players from all over Northern California. The festival offers games, training and clinics for Lacrosse players. This is the fourth year the event has occurred and Novato Lacrosse was founded in 1969.
